Home Selling Process
- Once the decision is made to sell, hire a REALTOR®
- Think about your final offer price and determine how much you will need.
- Decide on an asking price for your property
- Marketing plan is initiated.
- Agree on the terms of sale (closing date, request of the buyer, etc.
- Meet all required conditions for the sale
- Advise utilities of the need for disconnection
- Pack and get ready to move
- Change mailing address with Canada Post- Arrange a meeting with your lawyer prior to closing to review/sign any paperwork
- Move and have your property clean for the buyers pre-closing inspection
- Give remaining keys to your lawyer
